Ms. H.

Ms. H. came to the office. She was 4 months behind on her mortgage and had recently received a notice from her mortgage company that she must pay all arrearages or they were going to proceed with foreclosure. She also had a car loan that was 2 months behind and was worried about repossession. She had a recent medical problem whose costs had caused her late payments. The attorneys at Long, Burnett, and Johnson helped work up a Chapter 13 repayment option that allowed her to save her house and her car. The payments under the chapter 13 were only slightly higher than her normal house payment and car payment had been. Throughout the process she met with one of our bankruptcy lawyers who explained her options. Once filed Ms. H had this to say:

Mr. Long eliminated my stress regarding filing bankruptcy, answered all of my questions, and filed my documents with the court within just 2 days! He made the procedures to filing very easy for me without any added stress. I know actually what will happen and what is to be expected.

I am so happy that Long, Burnett and Johnson handled my case and am looking forward to following their guidance and completing this process.

They are great at what they do. Mr. Burnett helped me through my bankruptcy step by step. They are down to earth, kind and affordable. You know when you walk in that you aren’t just a number. They actually care.
